The extraordinary G-1 of LCDR. W.O. Nelson, spanning combat deployments in WWII and Korea and continuing into the 1950s. Note the scarce WWII VF-27 leather and sought after VF-721 "Starbusters" patches as well as stunning VAN-5 "Modern Minute Man." LCDR Nelson's diary documents KW escort missions. The 1955 USS Badeong Strait (CVE-116) cruise book identifies LCDR Nelson. Rarely do jackets of this importance find rescue from the ravages of time.
