shop. Our '30s-patterned PILOT in ultra-pricey British waterproof

Hair. This is a Camel Hair jacket, in effect, with a Ventile shell, such
is the specification of our Camel Hair. This one has a genuine vintage

B-3 SHEEPSKIN FLIGHT JACKET
54R BRAND NEW. This is a one-time opportunity for a guy who
needs a large size to obtain a unique LOST WORLDS B-3 at significant
discount. We made this jacket for a friend of ours last year who was in
town while working on the Rolling Stones tour. Although he lives in
Arizona, he fell in love with our B-3 and custom-ordered it in 54R. But
never wore it as he immediately went on a program and shed over 50
pounds. This cost $2100.00 and sat in the closet. So he just traded it
in in the hope that someone needs this size and will give an absolute
stunner of a jacket the home and use it deserves. This will fit a guy

L, S, XS Ventile Cotton/Camel Hair Lining. BRAND NEW. A LOST
WORLDS original, incorporating a host of vintage flight jacket features
to evoke 1930s commercial flight apparel. This style was only done in
tiny quantities because the materials specified by a Paris shop were
very expensive. First, British Ventile Cotton for the shell, famed for
high performance military and outfitting applications. Great wind and
water resistance. The interior isn't exactly a lining, although
superficially it might appear one. It's 100% Pure Camel Hair in 22 oz.
weight -- that is, overcoat and sport jacket, not lining, weight. So, in
effect, this is a Camel Hair jacket with a Ventile shell, to give an
accurate description. Soft, downy Camel Hair, itself possessed of great
warmth, comfort and water repellancy. In 1997 this cost over $1100.00 in
Europe. Who knows what it would cost today given the strength of the
Euro>Dollar. But to the knowledgeable, Ventile is a hallowed name in
high performance cottons, the stuff of bespoke outfitting. Dual entry
pockets, boxed epaulets, vintage Talon zipper. No other sizes avail. @
this price.

"LINER" JACKET XS (34) BRAND NEW. This is
an original LOST WORLDS design that we ran for several years for our
Japanese shops in the late 1990s. First, the construction: one side is
100% OD 15 oz. Cotton Duck, the reverse 100% OD Nylon Rip Stop. Lining
is 100% Hollofil. 100% Wool Knit. Melamine military buttons. Now the
design: we adapted the old US Army field jacket liners, seen in
countless WWII and KW war movies, into a hip, unique jacket in its own
right. And fully reversible. Few outside of Japan have ever seen this
although we were ripped off by an American company that made inferior
copies in Korea! In Japan guys (and gals) preferred the Rip Stop side
out but whichever, it's one o' a kind. A great two-in-one original
that's warm as toast given the robustness of the 15 oz. Cotton Duck
coupled with Hollofil lining. And given its military inspiration, very
macho with, almost, a postmodern, industrial mien. Ah, don't we

FLIGHT JACKET VEST 40R
Russet Horsehide. BRAND NEW. This unique item needs some explanation. In
1997 a Japanese company requested us to copy an orig. WWII A-2 in their
collection that had been converted at some time in its life to a vest,
rather crudely, likely postwar. We decided to refine and extend the
idea. So we finished the bottom and armholes and as a nod to
authenticity, replicated a torn-out original lining, for that vintage
look of having been there. It wasn't easy to refine -- copying a rough
conversion while retaining the essence is harder than it seems.
(Especially for LOST WORLDS, which doesn't fall into the amateur trap of
replicating errors in original jackets to satisfy, er, eBay wannabes!)
But we thought we did a very fine job. This is the last one. Fantastic
on the bike, over a sweatshirt, whatever. Heavy horsehides, LOST WORLDS
workmanship and elan.

ROADMASTER
JACKET 36, 38, 40
Black Horsehide/Quilted Burgundy Rayon Lining. The Roadmaster was one of
our earliest jackets, dating back to the mid-90s, and a favorite for its
1950s detailing. Yet it's always seemed to have gotten lost with
customers opting either for a full-bore riding jacket or a simpler look
like the Suburban, for example. The guys who buy Roadmasters, though,
love 'em. They're pretty full cut and really comfortable, given the
softer hides and gorgeous pure Rayon quilted lining. Through the years
we've made small updates so these jackets are priced to be stolen
(metaphorically, of course, though we do get bogus attempts to rip us
off from time to time.) Talon Zippers.

| CARNABY Car Coat
L, M, S Sage Sateen Cotton/OG Quarpel Cotton Lining. BRAND
NEW. Here's a little-known Custom Wholesale coat that needs and deserves
some explanation. A few years back one of our hip European accounts
asked us to take our Downtown style but come up with something different
and unique in USAF Sage Sateen Flame-Retardant, Water-Resistant Cotton,
on a strictly limited basis. We did. From one of our suppliers we
sourced Horsehide embossed with a basketball pebble grain and used the
hides sparingly, as style and functional elements. Talk about an
attention-getter. Then we chucked away the regular Downtown collar for a
kind of 60s, Nehru stand-up collar, lined in corduroy. For the lining:
waterproof military Olive Green Quarpel Cotton. The customers loved it
and begged for more. The Basketball Horsehide was tres Americain! Tons
of fun, one-of-a-kind and LOST WORLDS functional and tough. We have
around one in each size above, then it's gone. A "collectible" LOST
WORLDS rarity. Very downtown in fact.

| AIRBORNE LEATHER
JACKET 40R, 42R. Sea Foam Green Goatskin. Rayon
Lining. Back in 1995 we tanned a small batch of incredible heavy, firm
goatskin in a shade we call Sea Foam Green, a little like (but darker
than) a fantastic Fender Custom Shop amp called the Prosonic. How's that
for obscure influence? We used these amazing skins in an original LOST
WORLDS design we called the AIRBORNE as it was influenced by things like
the WWII Jump Jacket and Vietnam Jungle Jacket. Regrettably it was
either ahead of its time or too damned expensive as we didn't get many
orders from wholesale accounts. It cost us a fortune to make these --
the chest pockets are impossible. 100% Wool Knit, Brass Talon Zipper,
lovely vintage Rayon lining. Be the only guy on your block, maybe the
world! You'll thank us. Whoever got these hides raved to the moon. We
love 'em too.

order we ran in 1998 for a European shop. We just found this one "in the
back." Brand New. Unbelievably supple yet heavyweight Reverse Deer. The
underside is sueded and reversed, not split, like other suedes -- the
full hide. Without exaggeration the softest, most luxurious leather
"hand" you'll ever encounter. And most genuine. And this is no
looks-only jacket, it's a Lost Worlds, so it will last and perform.

EASY RYDER M/C JACKET
XL (46/48) L (42/44), M (38/40, S (34/36) NOS Vintage Boiled
Hunter Plaid Wool. Fantastic, nearly 50-year old
high-performance boiled worsted wool we found a roll of. At LOST
WORLDS we've always believed that classic styles and classic
fabrics naturally fit together, whatever their usual or
time-worn employment. We've grown up wearing and loving the old
Woolrich hunting coats of the 40s-60s, when they were heavy,
dense and practically bullet-proof: not fully and loosely-woven
like today. When we found this old, great wool we immediately
used it in jackets not usually thought of. We did a Buco J23 --
amazing -- and the Easy Ryder here. Because All-American is
All-American. Heavy 15 oz. Cotton Duck liner, Brass Talon
Zippers, a unique instant classic that's perfectly suited for
riding or going to football games. Note how we matched the plaid
to the panels for an almost seamless look! That's LOST WORLDS

Boiled Hunters Wool. See above for complete description of this fantastic
original woven textile from the 1950s-60s. Our simple, elegant and
refined Rigger, usually done in Horsehide, of course, here made into an
instant vintage classic except for the mustiness, moth holes, wear and
soiling of some gem uncovered in an attic or shop! Great OG Quarpel Oxford
Cotton lining, lauded throughout this Sale Page as a dense, lightweight,
nearly indestructible, comfortable, waterproof textile of the highest
military specification. Wonderful 100% OD Wool Knit, with no equal anywhere.
