SUBURBAN SHEEPSKIN LEATHER JACKET

The SUBURBAN is a classic traditional we've made for years in Horsehide, Cowhide, Goatskin and Deerskin. It lends itself to any hide virtually and is popular everywhere -- quite often a first LW purchase for European customers in fact because it's so American. So we applied a superb 5/8" American shearling (the tannery has since closed, like all) and a new desirable LOST WORLDS offering became. The construction is 100% Sheepskin (except for a horsehide collar facing). Warm and comfortable, water-shedding. And great-looking. The WWII military specification sheepskins impart a terrific flight jacket look, hitherto impossible and unknown, to the venerable SUBURBAN, which men use for nearly everything, including riding. Rugged and rugged looking. Very unusual too: such styles weren't generally done -- or maybe haven't survived -- in sheepskin in the 40s and 50s, thus another LOST WORLDS original that, however, derives fully and functionally from original vintage jackets. We never (we hope) diverge. Enhancing and continuing the tradition.
