In 1999 we learned that Converse, THE iconic American sneaker manufacturer, was ending all USA production and moving overseas to China.

One of our LOST WORLDS customers was a Converse wholesaler, whom we approached with an offer: if any 9M - 10M were available in USA Chuck Taylors and Jack Purcells we were interested.

Around 120 assorted pair were still left and we bought them all to complement our own All-American leather and cotton jackets. A natural marriage.

Since 1999 we've been selling our trove of "Cons," unadvertised, to Lost Worlds customers, and most are now gone. For the first time we're listing our remaining CHUCK TAYLORS and JACK PURCELLS on our website.
